GY-530 VL53L0X ToF Laser Distance Sensor Module — I2C
The GY-530 is based on the ST VL53L0X Time-of-Flight (ToF) ranging sensor — the most advanced compact distance sensor available for embedded projects. Unlike ultrasonic sensors, it uses a 940nm invisible laser to measure distance with high accuracy regardless of target color or reflectivity. Measure up to 2 meters in under 30ms over a simple I2C interface, making it ideal for robotics, gesture detection, and proximity sensing.
