RHRP15120 hyperfast recovery diode — 1200V, 15A, soft recovery, TO-247
The RHRP15120 is a 1200V, 15A hyperfast recovery diode with soft recovery characteristics, manufactured using silicon nitride passivated ion-implanted epitaxial planar construction. It offers approximately half the reverse recovery time of standard ultrafast diodes, making it ideal for high-frequency power switching applications where minimising switching losses and electrical noise is critical.
The soft recovery characteristic reduces voltage overshoot and ringing during turn-off, lowering EMI and stress on switching transistors. These properties make the RHRP15120 a preferred choice for freewheeling and clamping diode positions in inverters, UPS systems, and SMPS designs.
