The A2212 1000KV Brushless DC Motor excels as a higher-powered replacement for Speed 400-480 motors in slow-flying or 3D planes needing a larger 10″ propeller.
It’s suitable for planes up to 800 grams (28 oz) using 3 li-poly cells. Recommend propping for around 140 watts of continuous power, with short bursts of up to 180 watts.
Use a 10 x 5 prop on 3 li-poly cells. The motor boasts a 3.2mm hardened steel shaft, dual ball bearings, 3.5mm gold spring male connectors, and includes 3 female connectors for your speed control. It now includes a collet-type prop adapter and radial motor mount.
The mounting holes have 16mm and 19mm spacing on centres and are tapped for 3mm (M3) screws. It’s comparable to Welgard A2212-13, AXI Gold A2212/26, Welgard C2830-12, and E-Flite Park 400 and serves as a great replacement motor for a 1/2A Texaco engine.
