GY86 Sensor 10DOF Flight Control Sensor Description:

Small based on the sensor board of Invensense MPU-6050 (3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope), digital 3-axis compass HMC5883L Honeywell and the pressure sensor resolution of the MS5611 MEAS. I²C standard communication protocol. The board comes fully assembled and tested.

Applications: Motion detection in games, augmented reality, electronic image stabilization (EIS: Electronic Image Stabilization), optical image stabilization (OIS: Optical Image Stabilization), pedestrian navigation devices, etc. Power supply: 3 to 5 Vdc, dimensions (mm): 22×17.

The MPU-60X0 series chips are small motion-tracking chips, that integrate a tri-axis gyroscope, tri-axis accelerometer, a Digital Motion Processorâ„¢ (DMP) and two sets of three 16bits-ADC for converting the tri-axis gyroscope and tri-axis accelerometer analog output to digital signals. Also, it can receive three external sensor signals from a compass via its dedicated I2C sensor bus, to achieve 9DOF data. (a complete 9-axis Motion Fusionâ„¢ output).

This chip series is so designed that can interface with several noninertial digital detectors such as pressure sensors through the auxiliary I2C port. The motion tracking chip can develop phones and tablets into powerful 3D smart devices to utilize in health monitoring, sport, fitness monitoring, and similar location-based service applications.
