When the ozone gas exists, the sensor’s conductivity gets lower along with the gas concentration rising. Users can convert the conductivity change to the corresponding output signal of gas concentration through a simple circuit. MQ131 has a high sensitivity to ozone and also has a sensitivity to strong oxides such as Cl, NO & etc.

It responds oppositely to organic interference gases.
